Root : Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J710FN

Well, we guys love doing leadership, and being a leader you have the access to manage the whole system as an administrator.
So, today I am going to guide you on how to root your J7 2016 edition.
Before we start, let me tell you, its only for 2016 edition of J7 and works only on SM-J710FN model devices. Don't try this on other device.

Download the files from here :

1) TWRP Recovery 3.0.2
2) SuperSU 2.76
3) Odin 3.11.1
4) Samsung Drivers
5) Adb drivers (if samsung drivers don't work after installation)

Steps :
1) Install Samsung USB drivers
2) Open Odin as administrator
3) Now in odin, select AP
4) select "twrp-3.0.2-0-j7xelte.tar.md5" file.
5) Click on options in odin
6) Uncheck Auto Reboot
7) Now, in your device go to settings > about device > software info > tap build no. 10 times > go back to settings > developer options at the end of the list before about device > turn it on > go down and turn on usb debugging
8) Connect your device & then a message will be shown as added with your usb com port number. Now copy Super SU file to external SD card of your device
9) Now press on Start in odin
10) After it shows pass with green background, disconnect the device from pc
11) Remove the battery, wait for 5 seconds, and reconnect the battery

12) Press and VOL. Up + Power + Home at the same time
13) Remove your finger from power button but continue with other 2 till it shows TEAM WIN RECOVERY PROJECT Logo in blue and grey colour.
14) Now swipe, and press on install button
15) select your sd card from storage options and select the super su file
16) swipe to start flashing it, dont worry with red marks and lines as they are just internal commads of twrp
17) After it says installation complete, just press on reboot
18) It may take upto 5 mins to start for the first time
19) AFter it boots up go to all apps drawer, and search for SuperSU app, if its installed, then congratualations your device is now rooted.

Note: If it doesn't gets rooted then refollow this guide, check for any corrupted files then re download it.
If your device gets boot-looped or can say it gets stucked in Samsung logo, then you need to flash the original ROM. For that you need to download the official firmware from and flash it by the steps 1 to 4, just place the firmware in place of twrp and then press start (step 9)
